Review by hotel critic
As a traveler from Wales, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Old Rectory cottage in Pencoed. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and hospitality of the hosts. the comfortable and clean rooms, along with the beautiful garden surroundings, made for a truly relaxing stay. the welcome pack, including a bottle of wine and snacks, was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall experience. the flat-screen TV and CD player provided entertainment, while the private bathroom with bathrobes and slippers added a touch of luxury. I particularly enjoyed the close proximity to Cardiff, making it easy to explore the area and visit family. the hosts went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, and I would highly recommend the Old Rectory to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the Vale of Glamorgan. I can't wait to return during my next trip.
